Hostas
The deer have stayed away from most of the hostas long enough for some to develop huge leaves. Here are a couple of my favorites. The first two survived the trip from MD. Unfortunately I do not know the varieties, so if you do, leave a note.
My dad asked Tom at the www.hostapatch.com and he thinks, "My best guess it the all blue one is Sieboldiana Elegans and the yellow margined one is Frances Williams." Bob at www.HostaHosta.com also concurred, "Hosta 2 is probably 'Frances Williams' or a related hosta. Hosta 1 may be a sieboldiana, maybe 'Elegans'."
