Almost everything has now germinated with all the rain in the last week. We have lots of peas and beans. The squash and cucumbers have sprouted. The three rows of corn are up. There are even a few watermelon that decided to give it a try.
Now it is just a matter of weeding and watering. Both of which I have no time for. Oh well I consider what we have accomplished so far in our first year here a huge success. Whatever else succeeds is just icing on the cake.
One row of pole beans mysteriously did not come up. Maybe some hungry birds came by and made a snack out of them. We replanted the row and are hoping for a huge bean harvest!
