Evergreen Propagation

I am trying my hand at evergreen propagation. These are cuttings from several different shrubs in our landscape. They were taken about a week ago. I stripped off the bottom leaves, dipped the ends in water, and then rooting hormone. They were then placed in a damp mixture of coir and perlite. Let's hope they root and I get more plants.

UPDATE: This did not work at all! Not sure what I did wrong?

Hey LadyBug! Thanks for the fave on BLotanical. I love the variety of evergreens you're propagating there...reminds me of the 40 acres I grew up on in Michigan:)

I think you should have good luck with those cuttings. I did about 50 cuttings like this for a project a few years ago and all but one survived and thrived. Just don't keep them too wet or they will rot before they root.
