Shake your tail feathers

The chicks now have tail feathers and their wings are really filling in. A couple can fly to the top of their water dish. They also have the habit of tipping over their food dish which means a trip to FF to buy a bigger one. I gave them their first treat... a big juicy worm. They went crazy! The chick with the worm runs around the cage with it in his mouth while the others chase him. When the catch up they play tug of war with the worm. It is absolutely crazy and fun to watch, although I feel slightly sorry for the worm. Since I have been giving them treats, I think they consider my hand less of a threat and the curious chicks will come right up to it.
